House Hunting with McShep?

*Okay… so last night my friend and I were watching tv together [over the phone - she lives in Chicago and I live in western NY state] and we opted to watch HGTV's House Hunters [a frequent diversion - we love to check out what people are looking for, what they obsess on, etc. - plus we love that HGTV and its programming has readily embraced the way life really is - they not only have married couples, living together couples but they also have gay and lesbian couples - presented matter of factly no big deal made - just the way it should be treated]. So the first thing practically out of my PiaP's mouth is "Oh, jeez, they really kinda remind me of John and Rodney." So cut to me - a bit behind [always takes me forever to get to the correct channel] - hurrying over to the channel and well sure enough they do look a bit like John and Rodney.

The Best Time is Now
Episode HNT-3613

Michael and Robert currently reside in a rented condo in Toluca Lake, California along with their dachshund, Stanford. Robert is a real estate agent who's been keeping his eye on local properties and prices, and he and Michael think this is the right time to buy. They are looking for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in their current area, and they're counting on their $700,000 budget to go a long way in the current market.

It's not exact of course but definite resemblance. They're personalities don't really match our favourite duo but if you took your glasses off and pretended this was John and Rodney on their best behaviour for in front of the cameras….. LOL! Of course the alternative is to think of this being the stand-ins for Joe and David doing the house hunting for the actors because of course (think RPS) they're really a couple but everyone thinks they're happily married. *snicker*

A few caps to let you get the idea:

*Disclaimer: I am in no way disrespecting either the couple on HGTV's House Hunters [Michael and Robert] nor Joe Flanigan and David Hewlett. This is all done in fun and for the amusement of McShep fans and RPS Joe/David fans.
